The workshops were both educational and inspiring, with excellent explanations that benefited both the group and individuals. Astrid provides clear guidance and helps you fully (re)discover your creativity. What I particularly appreciated was the personal attention, which made you feel truly supported in your process. The company was warm and friendly, and sharing experiences made the weekend extra valuable. The atmosphere was open and inviting, making everyone feel free to just do and try. Learn to draw & watercolor
During this weekend, you'll learn all about drawing and watercolor to create beautiful travel illustrations. In the workshops, you'll discover the materials, various watercolor techniques, and how to capture your surroundings in watercolor. I'll guide you step-by-step, so you can soon capture your own surroundings, vacation, or trip.
In short, relaxed workshops packed with inspiration and tips to learn how to paint watercolors well!
All materials used during the workshops are included and available for use.
Stay in a beautiful location surrounded by greenery
De Hoorneboeg , situated on the edge of the Hilversumse Hei, has been a unique spot since 1972, inviting relaxation and inspiration. Surrounded by forest and situated around a historic hill, this location offers an oasis of tranquility where you can fully enjoy the silence and unleash your creativity.
You'll stay in one of the charming accommodations on the estate, where you can choose between a single or double room. All rooms have single beds, and you can indicate when registering whether you prefer a private room or a shared room.
The delicious meals are provided by Bij de Tuinman , which makes this location a perfect base for a creative weekend.

Two nights' accommodation in a comfortable single or double room, shared or private. PLEASE NOTE: Bathrooms are shared with other participants.

All meals are included, from Friday evening dinner and delicious breakfasts to the extensive Sunday lunch. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and desserts, freshly prepared with local ingredients.
Inspiring drawing and watercolor workshops by Astrid where you'll learn all about watercolor techniques and how to capture your surroundings through cool travel illustrations.
All necessary watercolor materials, such as paint, brushes, and paper, are available for you this weekend. Would you like to take home your own complete watercolor kit? You can! I'll ask you about it after you register, so I can arrange for you to purchase a cool watercolor kit (worth approximately €65) and take it home with you.
Healthy, vegetarian meals.
Unlimited tea and coffee (and cappuccinos) with cookies available all weekend. Yum.
Free use of facilities such as the spacious hall, conservatory and garden.
Not included:
Transportation to and from the venue is not included; you must arrange your own transportation. Parking is available; more information will follow later.
